Miguel Martinez or Mike as most people called him, died just after midnight Friday, September 25.

Mike just finished picking up Auto Trader magazines so he and his wife, Aida, could deliver them later in the morning. As he was leaving, a pickup truck ran a red light and struck Mike’s car. Mike’s car flipped twice, possibly even 3x. Mike died on the initial impact. The suspect who killed Mike Martinez, 59 of Boynton Beach was allegedly intoxicated. (Hasn’t been proved in court yet.)
Mike left behind a wife of 42 years (Adelaida Martinez); five children – Alba (43), Vivian (41), Witna (39), Lizette (37), Miguel Jr (33). He had 10 grand children – Jason (24), Vikki (22), Adelaida (18), Vanessa (18), Sixto (18), David (18), Michael (17), Joshua (12), Jayda (8), and Joseph (6); and 4 great grand children – Jason Jr (7), Jaydon (5), Jaylen (1) and Julianna (1).

Papi its been about a month since you been gone and it hasint been easy.But Iknow that your looking down at us and you want all of us to be strong for ourselves but most of all for mami.All I want to say is that I know how much you were proud of me when I graduated and went to college.And I want to tell you that Iam going to do my best in school.
